One of a series of great BBC programs about racing legends.

He may have only won one championship, but he was still one of the greatest imo. Watching him and Makinen got me into watching rally when i was a kid.

Colin had a greatness that was both a curse and a gift. Always chasing the point beyond the limit.
If in doubt, flat out. Amazing driver and person.

I just love that X-games bit where he rolls and instead of thinking well that’s that he just downshifts to first mid roll and carries on like nothing happened. The physical embodiment of tenacity.

I would kind of like to see the BBC do a show on like Richard Petty or Dale Earnhardt because I think it would be really interesting and funny to watch.

Colin McRae in the 1990s is the best rally driver ever.
I disagree, he’s a very good rally driver, but I think Sébastien Loeb is the best rally driver ever (despite Marcus Grönholm being my favorite).
